The death, the section and the embalming of the Duke Heinrich Julius of Braunschweig, the Secret Counselor of the Emperor Rudolf II

Abstract

Duke Heinrich Julius von Brauschweig belonged to the important politicians at the Prague court of the Emperor Rudolf II. He died in Prague 1613 and his personal physician described his struggle against the last illness, death and the following embalmig of the body.

This paper is an interesting source fot the history of medicine.
