Word Position and Stress Effects in Consonant Cluster Perception and Production

Abstract

The study investigates the perception of word initial and word medial clusters in school aged-children, and shows an advantage in the processing of word initial clusters. The study also reports a correlation between reading skills and clusters discrimination.
