Intellectuals, Identities and Ideas in the Cultural Space of Central Europe in the 20th and 21st Century: Bipolar Conception of Karel Kosík's works from Perspective of Historical Sociology

Abstract

The lecture focuses on Historical Sociology perspective of philosophical concepts one of the most important Czech philosophers Karel Kosík (1926 - 2006). His work is analysed from term bipolarity - influence of Stalinism on the one side and conceptions neomarxism and the hermeneutical and existential thinking on the other.
