Women's Political Mobilisation within the Pro-Kurdish Movement in Turkey: Actors, program, challenges

Abstrakt

My contribution is based on the biographical narratives of women politicians active within the pro-kurdish leftist party (HDP) that were collected between 2015 and 2016. The HDP is the party with the highest female political representation among all other political parties in Turkey.

My analysis focuses upon the resources of these women as well as the difficulties they encounter.
