This study analyses and compares the presence of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in two highest football (soccer) leagues - the Dutch one and the Czech one. It was oriented only to the CSR present in the management of the clubs participating at these leagues in the 2014/2015 season.
The main methods were a document analysis and a survey. As only few clubs answered the survey, document analysis was the main method.
The results show the following: In the Netherlands, CSR is already quite developed and present practically in all clubs; in the Czech Republic, the level of CSR is quite low and many clubs did not practically perform any CSR activities.
