Abstract
The development of many scientific disciplines (including history) was continuously and interdisciplinary became more important in 20th century. The result of this process was the emergence of historical anthropology.
From the 1980s historical anthropology got into the center of research interest mainly in Germany and then in the Czech Republic. Historical anthropology is a research approach between history and anthropology.
The aim is to describe historical anthropology as a border between history and social and cultural anthropology.
