Abstrakt
Discussion article questions the dichotomic perspective on urban/rural. This binary focus seems rather empirically problematic those days.
According to political economy perspecitve (Harvey) and core/periphery spectre I try to emphasize that the modes of existence in the contemporary peripheries have specific components (some of them which are of course "rural") ,which show that the everyday life in the post-rural localities constists of hybrid practices (Bhabha), customs as well as identities
