Abstract
This thesis deals with the issue of state of helplessness and dependence in case of selected crimes against human dignity in sexual matters. The author tries to compare selected crimes with focus on "helplessness" and "dependence" interpretation, find their common and contrasting features, approach these terms theoretically and indicate, how they are handled in police and judicial practice.
Individual knowledge is obtained mainly by Czech courts' judgements analyse, interpretation of the statutory provisions and study of expert literature. The thesis comprises author's experience of police practice as well.
