Abstract
Book informs about complicated and up today's live problematic of the South-East Europe. It describes the evolution of Balkan countries during the First World War, in the interwar period, during the Second World War,followed by the years of the Cold war (1945-1989) and finally it describes the complicated transformations in the end of the last century.
The introductory part brings facts about the situation in the region at the beginning of the last century and the conclusion is devoted to the beginning of the new millennium.
