Abstract
Water is involved in most geomorphic processes on Earth and its action is noticeable almost everywhere across the land surface. The example of a river basin spreading from high mountains to the sea, we introduce selected processes and landforms associated with the water action in the mountain, floodplain and river mouth environments.
