Abstract

The article refers the issue of the late motherhood on the Czech lands between 1920 and 1937. It describes the changes that have occurred during the observed years as to fertility of women aged over 35, using selected demografic indicators.

In the second part the focus lies on the analysis of late motherhood in medial discourse of professional and femine/lifestyle periodicals. In the very end, the form of late motherhood is discussed.
