Implementation of the European Union Directive on Antitrust Damages Actions into Czech Law

Abstrakt

The article deals with Implementation of the European Union Directive on Antitrust Damages (Directive 2014/104/EU) into Czech legal system. It refers to civil law institutes included in the Czech Civil Code and Czech Civil Procedure Code that are applicable in private enforcement of competition law.

Further, it highlights and evaluates modifications of these institutes included in the Act on Antitrust Damages passed by Czech Parliament.
