LOAD, PROTECTIVE AND COMPENSATORY FACTORS OF SOLDIERS IN BASIC TRAINING

Publication

Abstract

Human input from civil environment to the military entails a number of changes. One of them are different forms of stress, with which people meet in a military environment in comparison to the civilian environment.

To cope with stressors in the ACR is possible to use a variety of protective and compensatory strategies which lead to better and quicker adaptation to military environments. These will be mentioned in the paper.

Further I will include a comparison of expected loads (before training) and actual load experienced (a survey conducted in the end of training), including protective and compensatory strategies of Course soldiers in basic training
