Abstract

Historical computer games are becoming the most common form of the popular history, especially among the younger generation. By dealing with historical themes, computer game developers necessarily create digital representations of past events, inevitably frame them in a certain way and therefore may influence its players.

The research design presented on this conference tackles the ways how to measure the ability of historical game to affect the players' implicit and explicit attitudes towards historical topics represented in the game.
