Specific tumor of the urinary bladder - a case report

Abstract

This case report presents a female patient with exacerbation of interstitial lung disease suspected of having tumor of the urinary bladder. After the exacerbation was treated, she underwent transurethral resection of the tu-mor.

Histological examination of cold biopsy and microscopic and microbiological examinations of urine were po-sitive for mycobacteria and showed active genitourinary tuberculosis. Subsequently, positive microbiological cul-ture of sputum also confirmed active pulmonary tuberculosis.
