Abstract

If we think about the relationship between law and literature, we can perceive the law as a literature of its kind. The law is, however, composed of texts, though written in a rather specific language, often not very understandable, based on the accuracy of imagination and invention.

Increasingly legal academics utilize literature (as well as film) as a source of situations, images and dilemmas encouraging questions as what it means to be a lawyer, how far the law can relate to justice, etc. The book is a selection of views on such questions.
