Abstrakt
The Blanka Tunnel Complex has been a grand and extremely challenging project featuring on the one hand examples of world-class engineering but, at the same time, suffering from major management issues, legal disputes and force majeure events that led to substantial cost overruns compared to original cost estimates and an almost 5-year delay in completion. This contribution analyses the processes of planning and implementation as well as issues related to funding and management of the whole project.
