The workshop was designed to share the results of collective ethnographic research from specific places and situations where the problems of people who live with dementia are being addressed. We introduced four stories from different settings: community social services focusing on case management, home care in a small town, community health care center and family using the respite care services.
Practice shows that respecting the wishes of a person living with dementia and her/his family also means accepting its ambiguity and multiplicity.
