Fishes caught in fish ladders on the Blanice River at Vlašim (Central Bohemia, the Czech Republic)

Abstract

Samples of fishes caught in four fish ladders at Blanice river near Vlašim are analyzed it this contribution. During five electrofishing captures in 2012 and 2014 in four fish ladders (two bypass channels and two migration-fish ramps /rock-ramp fishways/, in the middle stretches of the Vlašimská Blanice River within the town of Vlašim (Central Bohemia, a tributary of the Sázava River, the Labe River Basin) were found totally 574 individuals of 12 following fish species (Alburnus alburnus, Anguilla anguilla, Barbatula barbatula, Blicca bjoerkna, Gobio gobio, Gymnocephalus cernua, Oncorhynchus mykiss, Perca fluviatilis, Rutilus rutilus, Salmo trutta m. fario, Squalius cephalus and Tinca tinca).
