Food and the city: alternative ways of production and consumption of food

Abstract

This paper introduces alternative forms of food consumption and production within the urban areas. First, it introduces alternative food networks and their forms already established in Czechia.

Second, the paper turns to urban agriculture in general and continues with documenting the first examples of community gardens in Prague.
