Belarusian émigrés in the interwar Czechoslovakia : analyses and documents : Social and Political aspects

Abstract

The pilot historical research on Belarusian interwar emigration realized in ten Czech archives describes past development of contemporary Belarusian minority in the Czech Republic. It focuses on period when, after breakdown of the tsarist Russian Empire, the Belarusians arrived in higher numbers to Czechoslovakia.

Consequently, it summarizes the results of scarce Czechoslovak support of the anti-Soviet Belarusian national program in political and social spheres.
