One of the components of the EU project DIYLab was the implementation of DIY activities into the university education of the students of pedagogy. For the preparation of future teachers, the pedagogical approach with DIY elements means an important shift in the view of the learning process and the teaching of the young generation so that it is motivated to address real complex problems.
In the context of teacher training, there is still a present issue of how to properly prepare students for their future profession so that their teaching practice reflects modern trends in education and, at the same time, is not separated from the real state of schools in organisational, curricular, social and technological terms.
