Laboratory and image spectroscopy and their us for vegetation analysis

Abstract

Laboratory and image spectroscopy are important methods of remote sensing for the evaluation of vegetation parameters. The spectral reflectance curve obtained by laboratory spectroscopy allows a detailed evaluation of various parameters.

Image hyperspectral data then allows vegetation analyzes in extensive areas. To differentiate vegetation from other types of land coverage and then evaluate its physiological state, it is possible to use image classification in combination with empirical models or radiative transfer models (RTM).
