Publication at Faculty of Science |
2017

Abstract

The paper analyzes changes in parental leave regulations and its possible impact on birth intervals. We focus on the length of the parental allowance in the Czech Republic, which was first extended in 1995 from 3 to 4 years, and in 2008 a more flexible system was introduced (so-called "three-speed" in 2008 -2011 and from 2012 to set a fix total amount with the possibility of its drawing within 2-4 years).
