Abstract
In his 90-minute lecture presented at the Research Seminar in Church Law and Religion Law at the School of Law of Charles University on 17th October 2017, the author dealt with the Constitutional Court's finding III. ÚS 3591/16 of 30 August 2017, regarding the legal status of pastoral assistants. After summarizing the facts of the case, he concentrated on the argumentation of the parties to the dispute, the District Court for Prague 1, the Municipal Court in Prague, the Supreme Court and finally the Constitutional Court, whose judgment has been given the most attention.
