Enterobacteriaceae, which exhibit unusual antimicrobial resistance profiles, is of utmost importance since such bacteria can act as hidden sources of clinically important resistance determinants. We report the case of an IMI-2-producing Enterobacter asburiae identified in the Czech Republic.
