The study observes Heidegger's conception of detachment (Abgeschiedenheit). It attempts to appropriately establish and answer the question of relation of thinking (Denken), as revived by Heidegger in his late period, to the problem of god, divinity and Christianity.
Thus, the study elucidates Heidegger's understanding of experience (Er-fahrung) as path (Weg). Detachment is therefore presented as a trail (Pfad) on this path, as a trail through holy spiritual night leading us to the holy (das Heilige).
The study shows to the reader Heidegger's thinking, though not Christian, pious or un-pious, as intrinsically god-fearing (fromm).
