Abstract

Behavioral side effects of antiepileptic drugs (AEDs) are common. The study evaluated behavioral patterns in rats after administration of lamotrigine, levetiracetam, phenytoin, topiramate, carbamazepine, gabapentin, pregabalin, and zonisamide.

Significant differences between AEDs in terms of their behavioral profile were found.
