The publication examines virtual learning environments in relation to the education of heterogeneous groups of students. This theme is expanded in the direction of the specifics and possibilities of adaptability and personalization in the context of learning in a virtual environment, particularly with regards to their potential to enhance the pedagogical effectiveness of teaching.
The study analyzes the adaptability in a virtual learning environment and examines various determinants that influence the results of education in teaching heterogeneous groups of students. With the support of an empirical survey, the study explores different aspects of the students' heterogeneity and their influence on the students' progress and results of education in a virtual learning environment.
