Abstract

In 2012-2014 systematic archaeobotanical investigations were carried out at two central Bohemian sites with abundant occurrence of remains of charcoal-making during the 17th-20th centuries. Both sites are located in re - gions with important historic iron production.

It is primarily the high density of charcoal platforms what these two sites have in common.
