Abstract
The eighth episode of the athletics didactics in school, was dedicated to the training of the relay handover point in each of the didactic steps. In the formation of an overview of the process while practicing relays was drawn from a didactic publications Choutková and Fejtek (1989), Dostál (1992), Prukner and Machová (2011) and Rošková (2014).
At the same time, it has been pointed out some of the new technical rules, the athletics relay during the, which was approved by the Councilem the IAAF and came into force on 1. November 2017.
In the introduction to this article, the author drew attention to some of the doubts that appeared in the previous issue. It was mainly about holding the pin in position of low start and when putting the relay race on 4x300 m in primary school athletics.
