"Völkisch" nationalism, whose origins date back to the 19th century, has expanded its influence since the time of the German Empire and survives to this day. The biographical article about Arthur Moeller van den Bruck shows how the author of the famous book "Das Dritte Reich" influenced not only the conservative ideology of the late 19th and the early 20th centuries, but also the national socialist ideology.
