Abstract
In this publication, we talk about the types of dementia and the diseases that cause them. Although the publication is not intended primarily for healthcare workers but for nursing staff and other social services, a certain piece of knowledge of the nature of these health problems is essential.
Depending on the type of dementia, the degree of its progression and other symptoms, we must choose our approaches to a person with dementia, the extent of help, the way of communication, etc.
