Abstract
Data sharing and management is one of the topic that the academic libraries deal with. Thesituation in the Czech Republic has not been assessed so far.
The article presents selected results of the survey that was carried out at CHarles University in the framework on Data literacy Multinational Study. the research was focused on types of used and created data, willingness to share data and data management issues awareness. 1434 completed questionnaires were gathered. The results show that most of the respondents share their data in some way, but in most cases it is not an open access.
The respondents fear misuse or misinterpretation of data. This topic is important for the respondents, but still unsolved on the institutional level.
