Abstrakt
The chapter describes the historic evolution and current state of institutionalized education of pupils in out-of-school time. The subchapters deal with the all-day schooling in former Czechoslovakia, current education system, legal framework of out-of-school time care for children, school play-centres and clubs and the current state of research in the field.
