Abstract
The authors in their paper describe circumstances that affect attacks on crews of emergency medical service. Currently there is no self-defense concept, which would be dedicated especially paramedics.
Results of the questionnaire survey show certain characteristics of attacks on paramedics, trends in resolving the crisis situation, the reasons for the aggressive behavior of the patient, evaluate dangerous places and situations. The observed data could be used in the preparation of the concept of self-defense for emergency medical service workers.
