Abstract
The book is the main result of the project that examined prejudices in the Czech society. It focuses mainly on attitudes towards three marginalized groups: homeless people, foreigners / immigrants and Roma people as examples of "otherness" in the Czech society.
The theoretical framework of the publication is based on the concepts of G. W.
Allport and his followers, the most attention being devoted to analytical chapters dealing with the different dimensions of attitudes towards the groups named above.
