Abstract
The digital single market is an attractive area not only for developing business relationships that involve the movement of goods but also for developing specific legal relationships that generates healthcare. EHealth and specifically telemedicine are areas that the EU supports and advocates their development and expansion.
In this context, however, it is necessary to deal with not only the technical but especially the legal aspects of these special means of communication between the patient, the recipient of care, and the provider of health services.
