Abstract
IMAGES IN CARDIAC SURGERY / Mechanical cerebral thrombectomy has been used to treat cardiac surgical patients following an acute cerebral embolus. We present the images of a successful cerebral mechanical thrombectomy in a patient on biventricular assist support (BiVAD) awaiting cardiac transplantation.
