Abstract
The Czech Underground Movement represents an unique historical phanemenon as a crossing of a radical political opposition, alternative rock music, poetry and a Christianity in its chiliastical form. This study offers an interpretation in the light of a "counter-culture" theory (T.
Roszak) and in the context of Czech Catholic tradition.
