Abstract

Adequate saturation of the organism with steroidal sex hormones is a necessary condition for proper physiological function of the female genitals. Oestrogen insufficiency has a negative impact especially in the area of hormonal dependent tissues of the urogenital tract.

Hormonal level fluctuations can also significantly alter women's psychological reactions and they can complicate their sexuality.
