Consensus Statement on Surgical Treatment of Atrial Fibrillation (CSCVS - The Czech Society of Cardiovascular Surgery)

Abstrakt
The Working Group for the Surgical Treatment of Heart Rhythm Disorders at the CSCVS has prepared a consensus introduction for the surgical treatment of atrial fibrillation. This argumentation on the issue of treatment of atrial fibrillation is based on the consensus of European professional societies, and sets guidelines for this treatment.
The aim of this consensus statement is to start a discussion about the standards of this treatment in our country within the framework of CSCVS as well as in cooperation with the Czech Society of Cardiology and other specialized societies.
