Abstract

Multi-parametric imaging using 3T magnetic resonance enables to improve knowledges about mechanisms of the structural, microstructural, metabolic and perfusion changes under conditions of oncogenesis. Such as combination of morphological imaging with an analysis of pharmacokinetics, diffusion weighted imaging and spectroscopy allows to specify tissues in detail and to support to differential diagnosis of tumours, to estimate their behaviour, and to estimate the prognosis of therapy response or to assess it.
