Abstract
The article introduces the life of the publisher from The Grand Duchy of Lithuania - F. Skaryna who published a Ruthenian Bible in Prague in 1517-1520.
For the first time is identified and explained a Latin form of the surname (Centro), used for the person of F. Skaryna in clerical records of the Royal Court in Vienna.
