Legal regimes of high sea regions : comparision with the space and Antarctica

Publication at Faculty of Law |
2017

Abstract

The monograph concentrates on the legal regime of high sea regions. High sea regions are parts of the seas and oceans which cannot be appropriated by any state.

This prohibition refers to the delineated space. Oceans and seas are specific in this because even though they form continuum in the physical sense, in the legal sense they are divided into several parts.
