The family as the domestic church

Publication at Catholic Theological Faculty |
2017

Abstract

The term ecclesia micra used for family presents the concept of family as a domestic Church (ecclesia domestica). The text first discusses the topic of house and home in the biblical texts and the writings of fathers of the Church.

Then presents a systematic consideration of the sacramental nature of marriage and family life, as it deals Marc Ouellet. In order to talk about the family as a church, we need to focus on how they can realize the mission of God's salvation of the world.

Therefore, in the last part of the text deals with the service as a way of life in the family.
