Abstract
The third, updated and expanded edition of a successful nationwide textbook of Pneumology. The first and the second edition was discussed, always in less than one year.
The book won the most prestigious award in the medical literature in the CZECH republic - 1. the price of the presidium of the Czech medical society JEP. The main authors once again invited to work on the book the leading experts of the individual subfields and key topics of modern pneumology from all relevant workplaces in the Czech republic.
