Pieta of Jihlava: Possibilities and Limits of Previous Approaches to "Beautiful Pieta"

Abstract

A comprehensive study including the analysis of the so-called "Beautiful Pieta" phenomenon with regard to traditional conventional approaches and also contemporary, contextual approaches. The second part is a monographic study of Pieta from Jihlava.
