Twenty-nine papers by international scholars presenting new research on the interaction between two crucial expressions of ancient Egyptian thought, belief and culture: the temple and the tomb. The papers focused a.o. on the transmission and exchange of specific texts, decorative patterns or architectural elements between tomb and temple; the interchangeability of rituals, the economic interdependence and the priesthood and administration involved with both types of structures.
