Abstrakt

In could be said that Greek-Persian military conflicts frame the long period of more than two centuries (540-330 BC) and were responsible for much of what happened in the Greek world and in broad terms in the eastern Mediterranean. However, it seems that the Egyptian-Persia conflicts were much more important in the eastern Mediterranean area than our conventional Greek-centered perspective and first-hand sources have confirmed this perfectly.
